As business continues to boom, we have strengthened our sales team with the addition of two hard landscaping veterans, bringing our total national sales force to nine. With the appointment of Dean Martin (below right) and Tom Newbold (below left), we are now better equipped than ever to meet the needs of our customers nationwide.
Tom Newbold is taking on the north London, Oxford and Reading area as Regional Sales Manager, while Dean Martin, also as Regional Sales Manager, will look after Wales, Birmingham, Black Country and Bristol. Both will report in to Andy Toovey, Southern Sales Manager, and will look to increase brand awareness and sales through a targeted approach.
Tom and Dean will work hard to build strong relationships with new and existing customers that go well beyond the standard supplier-customer dynamic. The pair will offer further support to merchants with additional back-selling opportunities and will work to increase membership of its Landscaping Professionals scheme.
Tom Newbold brings a wealth of experience from his civil and ground works background and particularly from his most recent two and a half year stint selling natural stone for Strata Stones Ltd. Tom commented, “The opportunity to work for the leading independent supplier of natural stone was too good to turn down. I’ve been really impressed with how knowledgeable the sales team at Natural Paving Products is and how well thought of the company is amongst customers.”
Dean Martin has been selling into builders’ merchants for more than 20 years and brings a vast amount of product knowledge to Natural Paving Products. With 10 years of specific experience selling landscaping materials and associated products, Dean is an invaluable resource to Natural Paving Products and its customers who can rest assured they are dealing with someone who fully understands their business.
